The Graduate School of Culture Studies and Arts (GSCSA) is a joint venture of four Estonia universities: Tallinn University (coordinator of GSCSA), University of Tartu, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Estonian Academy of Arts. The GSCSA was established in 2009 and to advance the academic level of PhD programmes of culture studies and arts in Estonia, and to integrate institutionally and administratively separate researchers of culture. Tallinn University is hiring for two Panelists/Opponents in Russian Philology

Tallinn University is hiring two guest opponents in Russian Philology (Russian Literature)
The 21st International Conference of Young Philologists will be held in 2020. Participants of
the conference are master’s students, postgraduate students, doctoral students from
various countries. Since 2011, opponents - leading specialists in the field of philology, from
various countries have been invited. For more information, please visit:

The aim of the position to the conference to give an open lecture at the conference on topical
problems of research and to hold open discussions with speakers-participants.

Requirements for an applicant:
Expertise in Russian Philology 
Research experience at the international level.

Application procedure:

Application for the Panelists is submitted on January 7th 2020, latest.

The application must contain an overview of the previous activities of the Panelists:
(CV, including previous research projects) and answer the following questions:

  • Applicant's name and surname
  • Applicant's workplace (university)
  • Applicant's expertise in Cultural Psychology
  • Overview of the applicant's previous activities as a Researcher (incl previous research projects) 

Applicants ability to participate International Conference of Young Philologists at Tallinn University during 13.02-15.02.2020

Applicant's research experience is at an international level

Selection process:
The applications will be assessed by the head of GSCSA council at Tallinn University.
