iCal calendarDr Tetiana Stepurko, Professor of Public Health at Kiev Mohyla Academy from Ukraine, will be introducing data collection methods and analysis for non-sociologists.
The workshop is designed to introduce quantitative methods of data collection and analysis for non-sociologists. We will present key terminology and useful elements of quantitative study to enable a more efficient use of the resources devoted for quantitative studies (e.g. pre-test, pilot study).
We will also explore the most common pitfalls in quantitative studies (e.g. correlation or causal-effect analysis, online surveys). We will also provide a set of tools that can be used to describe or assess quantitative studies through visual mehods.
This lecture is intended for PhD and advanced MA Students.
