AISS Master鈥檚 Programme Welcomes New Students

This week, 13 new students started the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master鈥檚 Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies (AISS) as part of Orientation Week at Tallinn University.

The students come from around the world: Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Nepal, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, China, the USA, Poland and Finland.

During the three-day programme, students explored university and city activities and met first-cohort students online. 

Representatives from the programme partners joined the sessions, including Professor Markku Turunen, Education Specialist Anna Castr茅n, and University Instructor Pauliina Baltzar from Tampere University; Professor Jos茅 Angelo Braga de Vasconcelos and Study Specialist Raquel Lopes from Lus贸fona University; and Research Professor Merja Bauters, Study Counsellor and Specialist Kristi Oikimus, Research Fellow Abiodun Afolayan Ogunyemi, and Head of Studies Hans P玫ldoja from Tallinn University, School of Digital Technologies.

The programme is designed together with three universities, Tallinn University, School of Digital Technologies, Tampere University, Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences and Lus贸fona University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies.

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master鈥檚 Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies focuses on sustainability, artificial intelligence and data-driven decisions, and participatory design methods engaging citizens.
